Yaw, Terry G, Wizkid, Wande Coal headline One Night Stand

Popular radio presenter, Steve Onu, known widely as Yaw, has been announced as the host of the highly anticipated mainland party, One Night Stand.
Yaw will be joining Terry G, Wizkid, Sean Tizzle, Wande Coal and a host of other crowd pullers on December 28 at Koga Event Centre for the One Night Stand edition themed: Raw and Wild.
One Night Stand is a periodic concert-like party, which takes place on the mainland, where all and sundry from youths to young adults and lovers of entertainment converge for quality life performance by select acts
Robert Jeyibo, a senior officer in Koga, said: “Most often, the major events happen on the island.
“What we have done with our periodic One Night Stand is to create a major party platform for mainland people.
“The huge following in the past months confirmed that it is an idea whose time has come.”
The last edition of One Night Stand featured stellar acts ranging from different genre of music – Afro Beat, Juju, Fuji, Hip-hop and the like.
Stars such as Sound Sultan, Olamide, Kay Switch, Samklef, Skales, Sir Shina Peters, Dede Mabiaku, Eva and Ketchup have all graced the stage of One Night Stand.
The last edition of the concert-like-party promises to be talk of the town as indicated by the roll call of artistes lined up for the show.
Jeyibo added: “The main focus of One Night Stand is party, hence the choice of Terry G, Wizkid, Wande Coal, Reminisce and Sean Tizzle.
“We are going to party till dawn, it is going to be party and concert like you’ve never seen.”
Come Saturday, the whole night will not be just about the established acts as winners of Koga Open-House finalists will also grace the stage and rub shoulders with leading figures in the industry.
“My mainland fans are going to have a night of fun as we close the year in a grand style,” said Sean Tizzle.
Terry G is also excited about performing on the mainland, adding: “Terrygzuz is going to raise the bar of craziness at Raw and Wild.”
