The duo of Western College and Jubril Martins Senior Secondary School have qualified for the semifinals of the GTBank-sponsored Masters Cup.
The quarterfinals, which started off with a bang as Western College and CMS Grammar School, treated the spectators to a barrage of goals as the tie ended 3-3 at regulation time.
Western College finally prevailed on penalties to advance to the semis.
In second match of the day, Jibril Martins Secondary School defeated their Grace High School counterparts by 2-1 in what proved to a battle royale.
Jibril Martins sprinted to a two-goal lead but Grace High came storming back and halved deficit as the 2nd half resumed.
However, try as they did, they were unable to find the elusive equaliser as Jibril Martins secured the second ticket to the semifinals.
