The Lagos State Police Command has offered explanations for its arrest and detention of music and video producer, Clarence Peters.
The spokesman of the Command, Bala Elkana, offered the explanation on Sunday.
Elkana said Peters was arrested over the death of dancer and video vixen, Love Divine, popularly known as Picture Kodak.
The dancer was reported to have been electrocuted while using her phone that was plugged to power in Peters’ Lagos home on April 39, 2020.
Elkana said: “Peters is in our custody answering some questions. We are investigating the circumstances that led to her death. It is a full fledged investigation.
“It is a murder charge.
“We are probably looking at murder.
“We are not concluding at this stage.
“If she died of electrocution according to reports, it is left for us to find out.
“Was she actually electrocuted?
“What went wrong?
“Autopsy will also show.”
