Victor Osimhen is not going anywhere unless a “more than indecent” offer arrives for him, according to Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis.
At their kit unveiling for the new season, the Italian champions’ chief doubled down on his uncompromising approach towards his star’s future.
Laurentiis said the Manchester United target “will certainly wear this new shirt”.
The Nigeria international is one of the hottest commodities in football after firing in 31 goals last season, but an asking price of around £150 million has stunned suitors.
With their financial restrictions, such a price would be out of the question for United.
Other heavyweights such as PSG, Chelsea and Liverpool are also said to be competing for his extravagantly priced signature.
De Laurentiis said: “I’ve already told you, Osimhen will certainly wear this new shirt.
“If a more than indecent offer should arrive, as we have already done with Kvara [Khvicha Kvaratskhelia] and with Victor himself, we will find new solutions.”
Last month, Napoli made Rudi Garcia their new manager following the exit of title-winning boss Luciano Spalletti.

They enter the 2023/24 as Italian champions for the first time in 33 years and have so far done well to retain talents such as Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia and Kim Min-jae, though the latter looks Bayern Munich-bound.
There was a sense that Napoli could have capitalised more on a special season in which they crashed out in the Champions League quarter-finals to AC Milan, who finished 20 points adrift of them and stumbled to fourth in Serie A.
Retaining Osimhen is part of a plan to make Gli Azzurri a force to be reckoned with for years to come.
About the new kits, de Laurentiis said: “I hope they are a symbol of the renaissance.
“The project is to bring Naples to the world.
“It is the beginning of a new era.
“The celebrations of the city and of the whole region were talked about all over the world for the civilization of our people, for the joy and beauty expressed.”
