Petrol tanker drivers in the United Kingdom have threatened to embark on a strike.
This has led to chaos in most filling stations as vehicle owners have besieged them to store up petrol.
The tanker drivers threatened to go on strike over what they termed poor working conditions.
As at this morning, most petrol stations in the country have long queues to attend to.
The Cabinet Office Minister, Francis Maude, has advised residents of the United kingdom to store petrol at home.
Maude said they could store a “jerry can in the garage.”
But Maude has come under sharp criticisms for the advice.
The Fire Brigade Union described the advice as “very dangerous.”
