President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday said the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, brought him “a beautiful piece of information” which he was not aware of until it was presented to him in a paper.
Buhari, who did not disclose what the “beautiful piece of information” was, said he would study the paper presented to him by Tinubu, whom he left Nigeria with on Tuesday.
Buhari, who spoke in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, where he is attending the EU-AU Summit, said: “I also thank our leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“He has brought me a very beautiful piece of information, which I was not aware of it until I sat down and read it this evening.
“Thank you very much for your hard work and I will discuss that paper with you.”
Apart from Tinubu, others with the President on the trip are Governors Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom State and Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi State.
Buhair spoke at an interactive session with Nigerians living in Cote d’Ivoire.
