Actor Jim Iyke has admitted in an interview with Chude Jideonwo that he paid his colleague, Uche Maduagwu, a huge sum to pull a stunt on the public for the publicity of his movie: Bad Comments.
Hours after, Iyke revealed this, Maduagwu took to his social media handle to disclose that he was paid N4.8 million to be beaten by the actor.
Meanwhile, The Eagle Online was the first news media to report that the “beating” was a stunt to promote, Iyke’s movie.
In an online review of the much publicised fight, Lead of The Eagle Online social media team, Felix Ilori, who was at the media screening of the movie, Bad Comments, stated that the movie was about the bad comments people say about celebrities not considering their mental health or career.
Ilori, in the review four months ago, which was before the movie got to the cineman, noted that the stunt is a live play of the movie, while stating that the movie deserves a five star.
He concluded that the movie is a stunt because the video was focused on him a (Iyke), which is a red flag.
