The Police Command in Ondo State on Thursday said it had arrested a 22 year-old suspected rapist and armed robber in Ondo East Local Government Area of the state.

This was revealed in a statement issued by the spokesman of the Command, DSP Edafe Bright, on Tuesday in Asaba.
The command’s public relations officer, SP Godson Orlando Ikeokwu, gave the names of the suspects as Okorafor Chinyere Favour ‘f’ 35; Chukwuka Christian ‘m’ 41; Ekene Obimara ‘m’ 21; Ogbonna Sampson ‘m’ 24, and Ebuka Okoronkwo ‘m’ 23.

Presenting the suspects alongside 45 other suspects to newsmen on Friday in Calabar, the Commissioner of Police, Hafiz Inuwa, said that the suspects committed the crime on February 23 in Calabar.
