The Chairman of ASUU-AEFUNAI, Dr. Egwu Ogugua, said this on Wednesday during a protest by the union.

Stella Uchegbu, FRSC Sector Commander in Ebonyi, made the call on Saturday at the Alex-Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu Alike Ikwo, during an interactive session with the university community.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Federal Government had last Friday renamed the Federal University, Ndufu Alike Ikwo, Ebony, after Ekwueme during a funeral service for the late elder statesman.
