Moses Peter, the captain of Nigeria’s senior scrabble team, on Sunday emerged the 2018 African scrabble champion at the 13th African Scrabble Championship in Kiriyangi, Kenya.

Peter, who is currently the World No. 2 player, told the News Agency of Nigeria on Sunday in Ilorin, Kwara State that scrabble was one of the sports in Nigeria that could produce a world champion but not well recognised here.
