The exchange in a statement by Godstime Iwenekhai, Head, Listings Regulation Department, said the defaulting companies failed to meet regulatory deadlines for the submission of their financial statements without any explanation.

A review of the results showed positive improvements on a year-on-year basis with profit before tax rising by 16 per cent from N3.16 billion to N3.67 billion, while profit after tax rose by 10 per cent up from N2.79 billion to N3.06 billion. 

NNPC Spokesman, Ndu Ughamadu, said in a statement in Abuja that the audited backlog had since been approved by the board of the corporation in line with the laws governing its operations.
