The incident reportedly happened in late Williams’ father’s compound at the 200 Housing Estate (Old Poly Quarters) in Lokoja.

The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, said this on Monday at a press briefing to mark the commencement of the school’s fifth convocation ceremonies, which starts on Monday, November 8 to Sunday, November 14, 2021.

Adighije said the process of appointing a new vice-chancellor began since September, when the position became vacant, following the exit of the former Vice Chancellor, Prof. Angela Miri.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Angela Freeman-Miri, disclosed this while speaking with newsmen on Monday in Lokoja.

NANS Public Relations Officer, Comrade Bestman Okereafor, said in a statement on Monday in Enugu that the expulsion was not founded on clear investigation and concrete evidence.

The first class graduates are from the Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences and Faculty of Science.
