To commemorate the World Post Day celebrated annually on October 10, the Nigerian Postal Services (NIPOST) has reiterated its commitment to implement the digital economy agenda of the Federal Government.

Pantami, who is the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, told the Economic Confidential in an interview that in the second quarter of 2020, the contribution of ICT to GDP was 17 per cent from 13 per cent maximum last year.
The Minister spoke when the Executive Management of the Commission led by Prof. Danbatta paid him a courtesy visit on Monday.

The National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy unveiled by President Muhammadu Buhari on November 28, 2019 is well-conceived, on track and built on objectives that will boost development of digital skills in both private and public sectors in Nigeria.
