Vatsa, former Publicity Secretary of the party in Niger state, categorically pointed out that anything short of a democratic process to produce a candidate will amount to handing over the government to the main opposition People Democratic Party (PDP) in 2023.

While speaking to select journalists in Minna on Sunday, Vatsa reiterated that the foundation the APC is built on is faulty and that the party will surely collapse.
The former publicity secretary of the party in Niger state on Thursday told journalists in Minna that, “there is a complete lack of morality in Nigerian politics and I will not be part of this deceit. Posterity will not forgive some of us. This country is in dire need of an honest leader.
The APC chieftain while speaking on the current security situation in the state, concluded that if elections are allowed to take place in the state under the current insecurity situation, such elections can never be said to be credible.
Speaking with journalists on Sunday in Minna, the former Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism said the desperation with which those that were called thieves yesterday are being wooed and coerced into the ruling party is not only an embarrassment but a confirmation that “the party is struggling for survival.”
Vatsa, a former Publicity Secretary of the APC in Niger state, as part of activities to mark his 60th birthday, made the appeal shortly after visiting the orphanage homes and Internally Displaced People’s Camps in Minna, adding that President Muhammadu Buhari’s body language, the high level of injustice and marginalization in the system are responsible for the current tension in the country, especially in South East and South West.
While appealing on Saturday, the former Spokesman of the All Progressives Congress APC in Niger State in a statement said: “The security situation is above the state and the Governor cannot do anything because he cannot control the security.”

The APC chieftain, while saying Buhari cannot be everywhere at the same time, took a swipe at state governors in country for stacking COVID-19 palliatives in warehouses without distributing them.
He warned that such action will be counter productive at the end and may lead to unforeseen fears.
The APC stalwart said this in a statement in Minna, Niger State on Friday, titled: “Now that the hunter is being hunted: Where is the fight against corruption?”
