CAF had announced the suspension of matches at the stadium following a tragic incident in which eight persons died.
At least eight people were killed and 38 injured as fans struggled to get access to a match between the hosts and Comoros in Yaounde.
The game was played at the purpose-built 60,000-capacity Paul Biya Stadium to the north of Cameroon’s capital city, Yaounde.
During the Covid tests carried out this Monday morning, Ali Ahamada tested negative
There are 12 cases of COVID-19 within the squad, with two of Comoros’ three goalkeepers positive.
The Serbian coach disclosed this at a news conference after Comoros Island defeated his team 3-2, leaving them bottom of the table.
All teams in the same pot avoid one another but they could be drawn against any in the other pots, so no one can rule out the likelihood of the Super Eagles clashing with the Pharaohs, the Blue Sharks and surprise packets Coelacanths.
Their qualification came after they picked up a point in a 0-0 draw with Togo at home on Thursday.
