The Branch Manager of the apex bank in Jos, Esther Tinat who inaugurated the ambassadors, said that the initiative is from the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), aimed at improving the economy.

The Editors also commended the CBN for its interventions, most of which have helped in the journey to economic diversification of the nation’s economy.

Mohammed disclosed this on Wednesday at a webinar, themed: “Digital currency and the prospects of CBDC in Nigeria.”
