The recipients of the prestigious British Council Recognition and Outstanding Learners Awards(BROCLA) are 95 students from 37 British Council Partner Schools

The students were awarded the prestigious British Council Recognition and Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards.
The Director of Programmes of the British Council, Chikodi Onyeremela, made the call in Abuja on Tuesday.
This is because of the resounding successes they recorded in 2023, especially retaining the British Council recognition

The British Council through the support of the European Union Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Programme has trained a group of social workers and counsellors as well as medical personnel in the Federal Capital Territory on sexual trauma counselling and forensic medical examination and documentation.
The programme was designed by the European Union in response to the identified need to invest in and engage with Civil Society Organisation in the country.

According to the letter, signed by the Council’s Project Officer in charge of Schools Education, Olumide Akintunde: “We are pleased to inform you that your school’s ISA portfolio has been assessed, and your school has successfully been awarded the British Council International School Award (ISA) for the 2016/2017 round.”
The programme, tagged: “Fast Forward,” an initiative co-funded by both the British Council in Nigeria and the MacArthur Foundation, is designed to equip young Nigerians with required employability skills and plug practical-knowledge gaps using the work-based learning approach for 1,000 beneficiaries across Lagos, Rivers and Cross River States
