In a bid to forestall the impending strike action announced by workers of the Nigeria Postal Service over alleged accumulated unpaid allowances, its Governing Board has summoned the leadership of the Union and the Post Master General, Bisi Adegbuyi, for an emergency meeting in Abuja.

The notice is in a memo issued jointly by the National Union of Postal and Telecommunications Employees and the Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporation and Government Owned Companies to the management.
