The Governor, who stated this at the official commissioning of the ultra-modern High Court Complex donated to the State Government by a former President of the Nigerian Bar Association ( NBA), Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), affirmed that his administration understands the importance of law and order to the progress and development of the state and hence would ensure its sanctity.

The Governor who took off from the Obafemi Awolowo Civic and Convention Centre, shortly after the Christmas carol service around 9.20pm, inspected street light projects along Bank Road, New Ado-Iyin Road, Fajuyi –Basiri- Old Iyin Road, Adebayo Area, Okesa, Oke Eyinmi, Old garage, Ijigbo Junction, Awedele, and Falegan streets among others.

The Governor, while setting up the committee in his office during a meeting with executives of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP) on Tuesday, urged pensioners in the state to have trust in the structure being put in place to look at their welfare and believe in the good intention of government to ensure that all gratuities were paid within a short time.

Speaking during the ceremony that took place at the Osuntokun Pavilion, Government House Grounds, Ado-Ekiti, Oyebanji said the appointees were selected based on their proven pedigree of professionalism, brilliance and personal accomplishments, stressing that appointment under his administration must be earned based on competence, character and creativity to achieve excellent service delivery.

A press release signed by the Governor’s aide on Media and Strategy/Chief Press Secretary CPS, Yinka Oyebode indicated that the new Special Advisers who are cabinet ranked are: Niyi Adebayo (Budget, Economic Planning and Performance Management); Tayo Adeola (Investment, Trade and Industry); Ebenezer Boluwade (Agriculture and Food Security).
