A Federal High Court in Maiduguri, Borno State on Tuesday admitted Aisha Wakil, popularly called Mama Boko Haram, and three others to bail in the sum of N1.3 million each.

Sharibu was held back for refusing to denounce Christianity, while the others were brought home to their parent by the Boko Haram insurgents.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports the Federal Government announced the release of the girls abducted by the insurgents at Government Science and Technical School, Dapchi on February 19.

Aisha Wakil, who is also known as Mama Boko Haram, was a member of the Dialogue and Peaceful Resolution of Security Challenges Committee in the northern region, set up during the President Goodluck Jonathan era.

Wakil, Ahmed Bolori and Ahmad Salkida were on Sunday declared wanted by the military for having connections with the Boko Haram insurgents
