Championship side, Stoke City, have joined the race for the signature of former Nigerian International, John Obi Mikel.
The 33-year-old left title-chasing Trabzonspor in March by mutual consent.
The former Chelsea midfielder, who played under Tony Pulis at Middlesbrough, has already been linked with West Bromwich Albion this summer.
Stoke have been linked with Mikel previously too, most recently back in 2015 when they were in the Premier League and he was at Chelsea.
