After a gruelling round 15 in two days, Timi Olaitan has emerged as the winner with 12 games and garnering 605 points as the second ranked player before the event.
Chief Larry Ojoko, the Technical Director, announced the results after the games.
Coming second was the Commissioner of Science and Technology in the state, Mabadeje Biyi, who won 10 games with 956 points as a pre-tournament third ranked player.
Four other players got 10 wins but were separated on cumulative points.
They are Ogedengbe Wale (680), Akanbi Dipo (656), Umogbai Andrew (414), Akinlosotu Femi ( 407).
The highly competed event, attracted such highly rated players like Ishiekwene Frank, Sanni Moshood, Ewruje James, Olowu Tokunbo, Itua Sunny, Ilori Wale and Hakeem Olaribigbe.
The high game score of the event was recorded by the Commissioner, Mabadeje Biyi, with 651.
