Patrik Schick’s strike from midfield against Scotland was voted Goal of the Tournament at UEFA EURO 2020, with Lorenzo Insigne in fourth place.
Almost 800,000 people voted on the UEFA website from the list of candidates for most spectacular finish of the competition.
Schick spotted the Scottish goalkeeper off his line and beat him from the centre-circle for the Czech Republic.
Italy were represented by Insigne’s right-foot curler against Belgium and Federico Chiesa got 10th place for his effort against Spain in the semi-final.
Also included were Alvaro Morata for Spain against Italy, Sampdoria midfielder Mikkel Damsgaard’s free kick against England and Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo finishing Portugal’s team goal against Hungary.
