Suspected armed robbers on Wednesday night in lwesi, ljebu East Local Government Area of Ogun State, shot and killed a school teacher, Sikiru Odufowokan, during a raid on the town.
Information had it that the robbers shot Odufowokan when he was spotted looking at them from his window.
Odufowokan was shot in the chest.
The Area Commander, Ijebu Ode Area Command of the Nigeria Police, Usman Alabi, confirmed the incident.
