All is now set for the much awaited annual congress, thanksgiving and dedication of Healing Camp of The Church of Evangelism, Awoyaya on the Lekki/Epe Expressway, Lagos State.
The week-long event, which is aimed at praying for peace in Nigeria and dedicating the church, kicks off on on November 3.
The grand finale takes place on November 8.
According to a statement made available to The Eagle Online, the programme will commence with a football match on Monday, then follow with a service of songs on Thursday, a night vigil on Friday and the grand finale on Saturday will climax the week long event.
The General Overseer of the church, Reverend Edith Okubanjo, while speaking on the event, said the annual congress would also be focused on bringing revival, healing and deliverance to the state and country.
Okubanjo reiterated further that prominent men and women of God are expected at the great event, which will be at its best in Lagos.
She stated that the peace that had been existing in the state for several years was divine, hence the need to appreciate God and pray for His mercy upon the church and the state.
She charged Christians to always pray for the success of the congress as prayer is the key of any activity or programme, stressing that no christian should be left behind before and during the congress.
The quiet and unassuming Okubanjo is the wife of the late Founder and Chairman of Intercontinental Distillers and a Director on the board of Ecobank, Oloye Oladotun Okubanjo.
