The former national U-20 team skipper, who was missing in Stephen Keshi’s list for the AFCON 2015 qualifier against Sudan, alongside Sebastian Dubarbier and Verza were in the middle of the pack for Almeria.
Striker, Edgar Mendez fired Almeria to victory few minutes to the end of hostilities.
The Brazil 2014 World Cup Super Eagles’ midfielder was also the mainstay in Almeria 2-1 loss to Real Sociedad last week.
Almeria are placed 10th on the log with 8points from 6 games in the La Liga.
