Primate Elijah Ayodele declares three-day global fasting against COVID-19

The leader of INRI Evangelical spiritual church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has declared a global fasting for three days to reduce the strength of COVID-19.
Ayodele said this declaration was made after he consulted God on how to curb the spread of COVID-19.
He said God spoke to him that everyone, including government officials, should fast for three days between April 15 and 17, 2020 to reduce the strength of Coronavirus.
He stated that although the government had tried in giving food and other relief materials to people, there is the need to work on a lasting solution that will benefit all mankind.
Ayodele said: “The government has started sharing food and giving relief materials to the people because of Coronavirus, but the food and all other things will finish soon.
“If care isn’t taken, the government will also run out of resources, there won’t be ways to buy food again and serious hunger will set in, and that is a worse virus than COVID-19.
“Spiritually, we should combat this by embarking on a three-day fasting and prayer at the global level.
“There is nothing prayer cannot solve.
“God is the answer to this pandemic.”
Furthermore, the man of God advised the government to relax the lockdown order because it is causing more havoc in the country.
Ayodele made it known that a curfew will be better in order to allow people work for money and buy and other materials for themselves.
