Katsina State Police Command has arrested a 26-year-old notorious armed robber.
It was gathered that on Wednesday at about 10:00hrs, the Command succeeded in arresting one Muhammad Sani, 26, of Tudun Yan Shanu, Katsina, notorious armed robber.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Gambo Isah, disclosed this in a statement.
According to the PPRO, on Tuesday, at about 21:00hrs, the suspect attacked one Rabi’u Hamisu, 28 of Lantarkin Mallam Mudi, Katsina, stabbed him with a dagger and injured him on his right hand.
He stated that the suspect robbed him of his Techno GSM handset.
Isah noted that in the course of investigation, suspect confessed to the commission of the offence.
He added that investigation is ongoing.
