President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Sabiu Zakari, over the demise of his wife, Hajiya Aisha Zakari.
The President’s condolence message was contained in a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, in Abuja on Monday.
Buhari joined the permanent secretary’s family members and associates in mourning “a devoted wife” whose contributions to improving and bringing joy to the lives of others would be sorely missed.
The President prayed God to receive the soul of the deceased and comfort the family she left behind.
