The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) has officially announced the appointment of Engr. Beks Dagogo-Jack as its substantive National Secretary.
The confirmation followed the approval of his nomination by PANDEF’s National Leader, Chief Senator Dr. Edwin Kiagbodo Clarke and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
Speaking on the development, the National Chairman, Ambassador Godknows Igali, explained that the appointment aligns with the resolution reached at the Special General Assembly held on October 24, 2024.
At the assembly, Rivers State elders within PANDEF were tasked with nominating a suitable candidate to fill the vacant position.
It was learnt that Dagogo-Jack’s name was subsequently submitted to the Board of Trustees in a formal letter dated December 9, 2024.
The letter was signed on behalf of the Rivers State elders by Chief Rufus Ada-George, former Governor of Rivers State.

Engr. Beks Dagogo-Jack brings an impressive track record of service and expertise to the role. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE) and the Nigerian Institute of Management (FNIM) and holds the national honor of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR).
His extensive experience includes serving as Commissioner for Works, Housing, and Transport in Rivers State and as the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Power during the Goodluck Jonathan administration.
Chief Dr. Obiuwevbi Christopher Ominimini, PANDEF’s National Spokesman, praised Engr. Dagogo-Jack’s outstanding credentials, describing his contributions to the Niger Delta region and Nigeria as exceptional.
