The Onikoyi of Ikoyi-Ile in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, South Western Nigeria, Oba Abdulyekeen Ayinla Oladipupo IV, is dead.
It was gathered that the monarch died on Wednesday evening during a brief illness.
Oba Oladipupo until his death was the Chairman of the traditional council in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The monarch ascended the throne in 2006 when he succeeded Oba Bello Adesite.
As at the time of filling this report, there had been no official announcement yet from his family.
Yet a reliable source hinted that Oba Ayinla’s demise would be officially made public.
