Academica Coimbra of Portugal midfielder, John Ugochukwu Ogu, has told The Eagle Online that he will storm the Super Eagles’ camp in Germany next week Tuesday.
Speaking from his base on Wednesday, the lanky star informed that talks are ongoing with the club management in order to facilitate his early release for the national team.
Ogu said: “I can’t wait to be in the national team’s camp because there are lots of work to be done.
“We have top games before us and we must arrive early to commence preparations for the games.
“The World Cup qualifiers against Kenya and Namibia are tricky fixtures.
“So, we must it all the concentration that is needed.
“We must all make an appreciable impact at the Confederations Cup because we would playing against the best teams in the world.”
Ogu, who netted his first league goal in a 1-0 away win at Vitoria Setubal, assured Nigerians that the Super Eagles will crush their Harambee Stars of Kenya and Wylias Stars of Namibia counterparts.
