Joy Comet FC striker, Jafar Oluwatobi Olugbile, is set to undergo trials with Swedish club sides.
A Swedish-based FIFA licensed agent, Dele Fatoki, who is the player’s manager, made this disclosure.
According to the Chairman of the PAVD Sports management, the highly talented player has been presented with the opportunity to showcase his talent in Europe.
Fatoki’s word: “Olugbile is a nice and humble young man.
“He has a bright future and the sky is the limit for him if he continues this way.
“He would have been in Sweden last year but the surge of COVID-19 hindered the transfer move.
“However, he is expected to travel for trials in Europe as soon as traveling restrictions are eased.
“He’s pacy center forward, hardworking and shoots with both feet.
“He reminds one of ex-Nigeria International Kalu Uche with his sleekly runs with or without the ball at his feet.”
Olugbile started three in nine league matches for Joy Comets in the Nigeria National League 2020/21 season.
Fatoki added: “For me, he is qualified for a look in because any player coming into Sweden right now must have a professional contract in order for immigration to issue work permit.”
Olugbile, 19, in 2019 was discovered at a scouting exercise at John Utaka Football Football Academy in Minna, Niger State.
In November, 2020, the striker was recommended to the National Under 20 team, but wasn’t provided the opportunity to showcase his talent.
