Vice President Namadi Sambo has described Nigeria as the destination for every investor just as he made the call for investment flow in the country due to the abundant business opportunities that abound for businesses.
Sambo made this call on Tuesday on Nigeria’s Day at the ongoing International Telecommunication Union World Forum 2012 holding in Dubai.
The vice president assured investors that the Federal Government has put in place all necessary legal and institutional framework to provide an enabling environment for investments in country.
Sambo further stated that the administration has made giant leaps in the provision of the necessary infrastructure and security and in the area of human capacity building to provide a conducive atmosphere for businesses and investments.
Speaking earlier, the Executive Vice Chairman of the National Communications Commission, Eugene Juwah, described Nigeria’s telephone market as the fastest growing and the most competitive in Africa.
Juwah therefore called on businesses to invest in the ICT sector in the country as all operators in Nigeria are making favourable returns on their investments while enjoying less government interference.
At the event, several operators in the ICT sector in Nigeria showcased their business potentials.
