The Twitter handle of the Niger Delta Avengers has been shut down.
The development was noticed on Monday.
The group, which has claimed several bombings of pipelines in the Niger Delta, has been using the Twitter handle to popularise its activities.
On Sunday morning, it tweeted the blowing up of five pipelines in the Niger Delta.
Those were the last tweets on the handle.
On Monday afternoon, the page was no longer available.
