Mourinho snubs Brazil deal

Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho, has reportedly rejected an approach from Brazil to replace Luiz Felipe Scolari as their head coach.
Scolari may still find himself looking for a new job as he became a national villain after overseeing Brazil’s embarrassing 7-1 defeat to Germany and 3-0 to Netherlands.
He is now scheduled to meet with the country’s Football Federation to discuss the way ahead.
According to Spanish newspaper, Marca, the man they want to succeed Scolari is Mourinho, but the Portuguese chief is not prepared to give them any encouragement as he plans to honour his contract at Stamford Bridge, which still has three years left to run.
It is understood Brazil officials started to put feelers out soon after the German demolition and made contact immediately with Mourinho’s representative, Jorge Mendes.
However, the response they received from the ‘Special One’ was not the one that they had wanted and it appears the Brazil Football Federation may be prepared to wait for the former Real Madrid supremo if his situation changes at Chelsea in the near future.
