A 28-year-old Assistant Manager, Elisha Zachariah, and two marketers were, on Thursday, arraigned before a Dei-Dei Grade 1 Area Court, Abuja, over alleged cheating.
The police charged Zachariah and the other two marketers with criminal conspiracy and cheating.
The two marketers are Deborah Ebenezer and Alex Onyemaechi, both of Mabelson Nigeria Company, Bwari, Abuja.

The Prosecution Counsel, Juliana Atinko, told the court that the complainant, Abiola Salmon, reported the matter at Zuba Police Station on January 11.
Atinko said that Ebenezer and Onyemaechi deceived the complainant that the said company sells solar appliances.
She added that the complainant patronised the defendants and bought five hot plates and three double-face hot plates, all valued at N423,000.
The prosecution counsel said that the complainant later discovered that the appliances were not solar.
She said that during police investigations, N117,500 was recovered from the company.
The offences, according to her, contravene the provisions of Sections 95 and 322 of the Penal Code.
The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against them.
The Judge, Saminu Suleiman, admitted the defendants to N300,000 bail each, with one surety each in like sum.
Suleiman said that the sureties must have fixed addresses, reside within the court’s jurisdiction, produce means of identification and own landed property.
He, thereafter, adjourned the matter till January 23 for hearing.
