The Management of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State on Friday announced that the school would resume on January 6 for the 2012/2013 rain semester.
The information was contained in a statement by the Registrar of the school, Jacob Agboola.
The statement said that the resumption order was reached by the Senate of the institution at its meeting on December 20, 2013.
The institution had completed the first semester of the 2012/2013 academic session before the commencement of the strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities on July 1, 2013.
The union called off the 169 days strike on December 17, 2013.
The statement said that e-registration for all students had commenced on December 23, 2013, while resumption and lecture commences on January 6.
It said that registration with penalty would begin on February 3 and end on February 23.
The statement said that the rain semester examination would begin on March 31.
Agboola, while wishing the students a hitch-free academic session, urged them to comply with the institution’s academic calendar.
