The Nigeria Union of Journalists Kogi State council has commiserated with the Governor Yahaya Bello over the death of his elder sister, Hajia Rabiat Bello.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Hajia Bellow died on Monday night during a protracted illness at the age of 59.
A statement issued by the state NUJ Chairman, Adeiza Jimoh, and the Secretary, Ademu Seidu, described the death of the governor’s sister as a huge loss to her immediate community and the entire Ebiraland.
The council prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
