I’ll complete all projects by 2015 – Aliyu

The Niger State Governor, Dr. Babangida Aliyu, on Wednesday promised that no project started by his administration will be left undone by 2015, adding that he will continue to exercise his power and authority until May 2015.
Aliyu said this at the 2014 budget retreat/dinner organised by the State Planning Commission in Minna, Niger State.
According to him: “We are trying our best to ensure that everything we started will be completed before we leave office.
“We won’t leave any project undone when we leave 2015.
“I want to appeal to you all that we are in 2014, elections is around the corner.
“By June to August, it would get busier and hotter in politics and a lot of officials may take off to campaign and leave their jobs undone.
“I want those who will be on the job to concentrate and ensure that they do their work well.
“I am not going to be a lame duck governor.
“I know my job, powers and authority and I will continue to exercise it until May, 2015.”
