Nigerian skit maker, Debo Adebayo, popularly called Mr Macaroni, has said that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 general election in Nigeria, Peter Obi, is a man he would be proud to call his president.
Mr Macaroni, also an activist, stated this on his Twitter handle on Wednesday ahead of the February 25 presidential poll.
He tweeted: “Peter Obi is a Man I will be proud to call the President of my Country.”
Mr Macaroni has not hidden his preference for the former two-term Governor of Anambra State as the country’s next president.
He had earlier tweeted in January 2023: “I don’t know about you but Peter Obi most definitely has my vote.
“Dear Nigerians, please open your eyes ooo and vote your conscience.
“I am voting mine.”
