Albion boss, Alan Irvine, has been confirmed to assess the extend of the player’s injury.
Ideye was left out of the Super Eagles squad to Brazil 2014 World Cup. He was also not listed for the AFCON 2015 qualifiers against Congo and South Africa.
It appears his recent injury may also deny him a recall to the African Champions fold as they prepare to battle Sudan in a double header clash in October.
