Bayern Munich midfielder, Luiz Gustavo, has been tipped as possible replacement for the potentially outgoing Nigerian international, John Obi Mikel, at Chelsea.
Mikel was reportedly close to joining Turkish side, Galatasaray, earlier this summer and the Nigerian’s future is still far from certain at Stamford Bridge.
Should the 26-year-old leave the Blues, then manager Jose Mourinho will bid £16 million for Brazilian international Gustavo, The Eagle Online has gathered.
Gustavo was part of the Brazil side that won the Confederations Cup last month.
The defensive midfielder has also been linked with Lique 1 giant, Monaco.
