Reports monitored on the website of Vanguard newspaper has it that yet-to-be-apprehended gunmen have killed two riot policemen and kidnapped four expatriates in Okpai, Kwale, Delta State.
The expatriates abducted work for Agip Oil Company.
According to the report, the gunmen, numbering about six, accosted the coastal bus conveying the workers back home from work at the Agip Okpai/Beneku field, operated by Agip and Sterling, at about 4pm and shot dead the two mobile policemen with them before carefully selecting four members of staff from the bus.
The whereabouts of the expatriates was yet to be established as at press time.
No ransom has also been demanded by the abductors.
