A group under the aegis of Political Re-awakening Support Team for the Peoples Democratic Party has admitted that huge money was used to influence the delegates to vote for Senator Gyang N. Pwajok during the PDP governorship primaries.
Team Coordinator, Jonathan Amande, stated this during a press conference held at the NUJ Centre in Jos, Plateau State on Thursday.
Amande said: “On the issue of money, Bill Clinton, in his book: “My life,” said that if you are vying for an office, three things are needed: You must look like the office, you must be popular and you must have money.
“None of the 16 aspirants would say he did not give the delegates money.”
Amande called on all the other 15 aspirants to “join hands with our flag bearer, Senator G.N.S. Pwajok to strengthen PDP for the secondary election”.
Amande commended the foresight and wisdom in the choice of Pwajok, describing him as a man of intellect, repute and pedigree.
He called on the citizens of Plateau State to support the dream and aspirations of Pwajok who is ready to unite the people of the state.
