The Academic Staff Union of Universities has finally called off its over five months strike.
The President of ASUU, Dr. Nasir Fagge, made the announcement on Tuesday morning in Minna, Niger State.
Nasir, who briefed the press at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, said that the resumption of work by the lecturers is with immediate effect.
ASUU embarked on the strike on July 1, 2013.
