Falconets crush Sierra Leone 6-0

The Nigerian U-20 Women Football Team, the Falconets, on Sunday departed Freetown after a 6-0 win against Sierra Leone in the return leg match of their 2014 FIFA U-20 World Cup qualifier.
The team’s Media Officer, Elizabeth Kah, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria in a telephone interview in Abuja on Sunday.
Kah said that the players were able to meet up the expectation to win the game.
Elizabeth said the team finished the first half with 3-0 and all efforts made by their hosts to score a goal were fruitless.
She said the the team increased the tally by three goals in the second half.
NAN recalls that the Falconets beat Sierra Leone 10-0 during the first leg match played at the Abuja National Stadium on October 26, with Uchechi Sunday scoring five goals.
The media officer said the team has two more qualifying matches to play before they could secure the ticket to the World Cup.
She said: “However, we have two more qualifiers to play.
“Though it does appear that we will either play Morocco or Tunisia, we are not sure of the country yet.
“We are waiting for the Confederation of African Football to name the country because it is yet to release the full calendar, but the next match is December.”
