Dolphins of Port Harcourt, Rivers State will be without their regulars as they battle Premier League new comers, Nembe City FC, in Week 10 of the Nigerian Professional Football League.
The encounter will take place at the Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
The duo of Chimaobi Chukwu and Ifeanyi Egwim are effectively ruled out of the game.
Egwim is down with malaria while Chukwu is nursing a groin strain he picked up when Dolphins lost 0-3 to Enugu Rangers on April 12.
“The two players will definitely not play against Nembe City for the outlined reasons but we should still be strong enough to win convincingly,” Secretary of Dolphins, Ahmed Abdulrahman, informed.
However, the club have been struck yet another further blow with Abduljeleel Ajagun, Chidi Osuchukwu and Chizoba Amaefule all set to miss the game.
The trio, who are integral members of the Nigeria Under-20 football team, have left for camp and will now miss out on the game on Wednesday.
Isiaka Olawale is yet another Dolphin set to miss the game as he will be joining the camp of the beach national team.
