Depay arrives for Man U medicals

Memphis Depay has travelled to Manchester United for a medical ahead of his £25 million summer transfer.
No problems are expected for the 21-year-old, who has never had a serious injury in his professional career and has only missed a handful of games all season for PSV Eindhoven.
The Eredivisie champions revealed earlier this month they had accepted a bid for the Dutch international.
However, it is understood that the £25 million initial fee could rise by as much as £8 million with add-ons, which involve appearance money and success.
Depay, meanwhile, has been speaking to English-based compatriots to learn more about his future surroundings, and has been pleased with what he’s heard.
He said: “I heard Leroy Fer speak about it and it’s great to hear that from other players.”
He also admitted that while he’s not quite at the level of former United star, Cristiano Ronaldo, he hopes one day to reach such heights.
“If you read it in the media it’s great,” said Depay. “But I’m 21 and have not reached the level of Cristiano Ronaldo.
“He’s a big hero for me and one day I hope to reach that level.
“He scores so many goals and I want to fight to be one of the best players in the world.”
He added: “I believe I can be one of the best players in the world and I have to dream and believe to achieve. It’s tattooed on my chest.
“You just have to work every day on your dreams. My dreams started with going to the World Cup and then when I was there I scored two goals – becoming the youngest ever Dutch goalscorer – and I was very happy.”‎
