Delta State Police Command has arrested another suspect, one Akpoghene Idogo shoemaker, 20, over the death of Patience Kenmore, a 50-year-old pepper seller.
The information was disclosed in an e-signed statement by the Acting, Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Edafe Bright.
According to Bright, the command had earlier arrested one Onos Simon over the alleged murder of Kenmore for ritual purpose.
Bright stated that following a tip off, the DPO Oleh, SP Paul Oboware on Friday 8th led a combined team of police/vigilante and some community leaders to Kwale town where the suspect was arrested.
He noted that the suspect had been on the run after the alleged murder of the victim alongside his friend who was earlier arrested.
Bright added that efforts to arrest the remaining suspects who contracted and paid them (suspects) the sum of N100,000 for the dastardly act are ongoing.
